As we all know, the magnificent Mule Deer is the most sought after trophy in all of North America today. With numbers dropping across the west and big mule deer bucks becoming harder to find, this is perhaps one of your best chances at harvesting that Mule Deer buck that you seek. We have several large ranches leased across western Nebraska with good populations of Mule Deer and tags that are easy to obtain. Archery and Muzzleloader tags are over – the – counter, Rifle tags are sold on a quota basis and usually sell out about mid September of that hunt year. Rifle hunts are always held in mid-November right in the middle of the rut. Muzzleloader hunt dates are always held from December 1 – 31 and Archery Hunts will be held September 15 – December 31 except during the rifle season. The terrain on these hunts is easy to medium in difficulty, most hunts will be spot and stalk with some ground blinds and tree stands being used on occasions. Terrain will consist of creek bottoms, CRP, rolling sage brush and yuccas, canyons, cedar woodlots, alfalfa, corn and wheat. Hunters should expect to see Mule Deer ranging from 150” – 175” B&C / P&Y with the occasional 180”+ B&C / P&Y Being harvested. Tags are also good for Whitetails should we find and you elect to harvest that Trophy Whitetail!! No Trophy Fees!
