Nebraska and Iowa Turkey Hunts

            Adventures Wild offers wild Turkey hunts in both Nebraska and Iowa. Hunt the river bottoms and hill country of Nebraska for both Merriam and Rio Grande Turkey. Nebraska hunts offer you the chance to harvest both birds with a generous 3 bird limit. Iowa hunts are for the mighty Eastern Turkey with Tom’s averaging about 23 lbs. with 1¼ inch or better spurs. Iowa turkey tags are obtained through a draw which occurs from mid December through late January. Nebraska tags are over the counter and can be bought the day your hunt begins or over the internet. Adventures Wild also offers a combo Nebraska and Iowa hunt were you can harvest Merriam, Rio and Eastern Turkey all in one hunt. So if you’re looking for a grand slam here is your chance to harvest ¾ of the slam in one trip!! Hunt dates are always mid April through mid May in both sates.
