Adventures Wild has about 1500 acres in South Central Iowa for Monster Whitetails and Eastern Turkey! These properties are just a few miles from were the new world Record non-typical Louvenstein Buck was harvested. This is a great chance to hunt were some of the biggest Whitetails in the country are being harvested. Zones 4 and 5 have put more bucks into the record books than anywhere in the country in the last few years. Adventures Wild also offers southwest Nebraska Whitetail hunts. In past years clients have harvested several bucks in the 140's - 160's range with the potential of 170" + bucks. We currently are leasing over 2,000 acres on the Republican River in Southwest Nebraska. There are also mule deer in the area and it is possible to obtain tags for mulies also. There is a quota on Rifle tags so hurry or Archery and Muzzleloader tags are over the counter! Don’t forget to book early for the 2009 Turkey hunts in SW Nebraska we have both Merriam and Rio Grande Turkeys which would allow you to harvest half your slam in one trip!! The Nebraska hunts are for two birds and for an additional $150 you can harvest a third bird. Once again in 2008 we ran a 100% success rate on these hunts. Among those who hunted with us this year were Southern Backwoods Adventures TV (Viewers choice award for favorite hunting show in 2007 on The Sportsman’s Channel) and Bass Pro Shops Next Generation. There are still a few open spots for the 2008 Eastern Colorado Mule Deer and Whitetail seasons. 2007 was another successful season for rifle, muzzleloader and archery hunters. Adventures Wild clients harvested 12 mule deer and 2 whitetails over 180" with the biggest muley scoring 238" with about 20 -25 inches broken off.
